Description
David Lee is a highly motivated individual who overcame some setbacks in his life to rise through the ranks quickly, and at the age of 27, became the country manager of the NZ Foods’ representative office in Singapore. However, Lee soon begins to encounter problems upon stepping up to his new role.
This case aims to promote discussion about the challenges that millennials and junior to middle-level managers might face at the work place. A variety of issues, such as leading across a multi-generational work force, conflict management approaches and the appropriate use of power, can be potentially discussed using this case.
